Our Mission:
We believe that education in the field of horsemanship will enhance the lifestyle of our special needs individuals. This work is an essential part in basic stimulating of individual initiative, self-determination and physical well-being. Our horses and instructors are trained to assist all physical and mental needs of our special needs riders.
Hippotherapy is a term that refers to the use of the movement of the horse as a tool by physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists to address impairments, functional limitations and disabilities in patients with neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunction.
This tool will be used as a part of an integrated treatment program to achieve functional outcomes.
Our mission is to serve all persons of all nationalities and creeds as an effort to enhance their quality of life.
